Returns & Refund Policy

At CoffeeCakes.com, we take pride in delivering high-quality, freshly baked goods that bring joy to every occasion. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we’re here to make the refund process as smooth and clear as possible.

1. Order Processing Times

We strive to ship out all orders placed before 2pm MST (Mon-Fri) the same day! Orders placed after 2pm MST (Mon-Friday) will go out the next business day.  You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once you order. 

2. Return Eligibility

Due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns on perishable items, including all cakes and baked goods.

You may request a refund or replacement under the following conditions:

  • Damaged or Defective Products: If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photo evidence.
  • Non-returnable Items: Perishable food products, customized orders, sale items (unless defective), and gift cards cannot be returned.

3. How to Initiate a Refund or Replacement

To begin a refund or replacement request, please email us at info@coffeecakes.com with the following:

  • Your order number
  • Reason for the refund or replacement
  • Clear photos of any damage (if applicable)

If your return is approved for a non-perishable item (e.g., gift items), we will provide you with a return address and further instructions.

4. Return Shipping Charges

  • Customer-paid Returns: If returning a non-perishable item due to change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping and a 20% restocking fee.
  • Company-paid Returns: If the return is due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping cost.

5. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Processing takes 7–10 business days after receipt and inspection of the item (if applicable).
  • Please allow an additional 5–8 business days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases of defective or incorrect items.

6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different item, please follow the return process (if applicable) and place a new order separately.

7. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be canceled before they ship. If the order has already shipped, customers are responsible for either a $10 intercept fee or applicable return shipping charges. Contact us immediately if you wish to cancel.
